Dr. David Samadi to Focus on Men’s Health Topics for the Month of November on Sunday Housecall LIVESTREAM

Special “Movember” episodes to air every Sunday at 12PM EST on Samaditv.com

Dr. David Samadi, the Chairman of Urology, and Chief of Robotic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, will dedicate his weekly Sunday Housecall LIVESTREAM to topics related to men’s health for the month of November.  As one of the foremost experts of robotic prostate surgery and a board certified oncologist, Dr. Samadi is especially qualified to cover cancers that specifically affect males.

Every year in November men around the world grow out their facial hair to raise awareness for issues that affect the male population such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. Since this movement known as, “Movember” or “No Shave November,” began in 2004, it has made huge strides towards increasing early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths.

“It is important for both men and women to have open conversations with their male loved ones about early cancer detection,” explained Dr. Samadi. I hope that by dedicating my program to this deadly disease, that hundreds of thousands of men around the world face every day, I can spark potentially life saving discussions.”

The distinguished doctor will share advice on the ten telltale signs of testicular cancer, when and how often to visit a doctor for a prostate exam, and other symptoms or signs that could indicate a man’s health may be compromised.

Dr. Samadi’s weekly Sunday Housecall LIVE STREAM  airs every Sunday at 12 30pm ET.  Viewers can tune in at samaditv.com.
