Kegel Exercises Improve Sexual Function in Men

Today, we spoke with CEO and Founder, David Mandel of PrivateGym.com, a kegel exercise program for men to strengthen the pelvic muscles for improvement of sexual function.

Kegel Exercises for Men

Private Gym is the first FDA registered exercise program that strengthens the muscles that support and control the penis, bladder, prostate and bowels.

The exercises are 10 minutes/per day, 3 days a week.

Private Gym Works to:

  • Create harder erections
  • Prevent premature ejaculation
  • Produce more powerful orgasms
  • Enable greater ejaculatory force
  • Alleviate incontinence
  • Improve prostate health

Studies on Kegel Exercises

The Erectile Dysfunction Foundation just completed a four-month preliminary clinical trial on The Private Gym for Men Program. The randomized study comprised of 30 men aged from 24 to 65-years-old. Participants ranged from completely healthy men with no sexual dysfunction symptoms to those who reported mild erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and decreased sexual performance.

Study participants, across all age groups, showed improved erectile strength and rigidity, orgasm intensity, ejaculatory control and force, as well as greater confidence in sexual performance.

Clinically Proven Results

  • 75% improved erectile rigidity and strength (25% greatly improved)
  • 90% experienced heightened orgasm intensity
  • 40% improved ejaculatory control (25% greatly improved)
  • 75% improved ejaculatory force (12% greatly improved)
  • 90% improved confidence in the bedroom/sexual performance (50% greatly improved)
  • 60% experienced increased sexual pleasure (38% greatly improved)

The study also produced newer findings. While it is well recognized that resistance training strengthens skeletal muscles, researchers also found that weighted resistance training also accelerates pelvic muscle growth and strength.

Aren't Kegel Exercises Only for Women?

The Private Gym exercise program builds upon the scientific findings of Dr. Arnold Kegel, who, in the 1940s, developed simple exercises to prepare women for childbirth. For decades, doctors and leading medical institutions have recommended these exercises for women.

Many people think that strengthening the pelvic floor is only for who are pregnant or considering getting pregnant. But more research has proven it is also great for men to improve their sexual function.

Kegel Exercises Prior to Prostate Surgery

Studies have also shown that strengthening the pelvic muscles before prostate cancer surgery can affect and improve the outcome after surgery regarding continence and sexual function. Men should begin these exercises six-eight weeks prior to surgery.
