It is recommended that people keep their sodium intake to less than 1,500 milligrams a day. A one-cup serving of pickles has just 17 calories, but 1,200 mg of sodium. Instead of pickles, go for something like cucumbers, apples, or carrots.

The best time to eat protein bars is after a workout.

White chocolate. Did you know that white chocolate is mostly vegetable fat and added sugar? Dark chocolate, on the other hand, has beneficial antioxidants which can help reduce inflammation and your risk for heart disease.
