/Asthma is a chronic lung disease that affects more than 25 million people in the United States. Asthma interferes with breathing by inflaming, thereby narrowing the airways. In order to reduce asthma symptoms, you must identify the triggers such as air pollution, allergies, cold air, a cold or flu virus, sinusitis, smoke, or fragrances. By reducing your exposure to any of the factors that trigger your asthma symptoms, you can reduce your asthma symptoms.
