Does Penis Size Matter
/Just about all men have wondered if the size of their penis is the driving force of bringing sexual satisfaction to a woman. Penises are often associated with power and masculinity but the size may not matter as much as you thought it did. And in addition, most men are within the same ballpark of being more alike size-wise than different.
Research has shown that you can’t rely on what you may have viewed on pornography where the guy is often quite well-endowed. A review from King’s College London looked through 17 studies examining penis size of over 15,000 men. The average length of a penis when flaccid from the base to the opening on the tip was 3.6 inches while the circumference measured around the base or mid-shaft was 3.7 inches.
They then found the average size of an erect penis to rise to 5.2 inches in length and 4.6 inches in circumference. Around 90 percent of men have an erect penis that measure between 4 inches and 6.3 inches.
Does size really matter to women?
So how does this information relate to size of an erect penis and the sexual satisfaction if brings to a woman? This is where another study researched 50 women between the ages of 18 and 25 years asking them their perception of how sexually satisfied they were in regards to a man’s penis size and width.
Discovered was:
· More women stated that width was more important than length for sexual satisfaction
· Most women found a long penis to cause discomfort
· None of the women felt that penis size and width were equally important
Why does width matter more than length?
For all those men who thought penis length was more important in satisfying a woman than width, it apparently does not. The reason why the width of a penis may be more sexually stimulating for a woman could be that having a larger circumference at the base of the penis would create more stimulation to the clitoris helping a woman more likely to have an orgasm. Also having more girth to a penis creates more of a feeling of fullness giving her more satisfaction both sexually, physically and psychologically.
Men can relax about penis size
The vast majority of women according to a 2006 in-depth study on men’s and women’s view on penis size found that at least 86% of women were very satisfied with the size of their partner’s penis. It tends to be the media that places pressure on boys and men to compare their penis size which can make them feel inadequate.
Women can help a man to feel less inferior and to remind him that sexual satisfaction comes from the loving connection and intimacy formed between them during a sexual encounter. Tell him there are so many other things about him that made you infatuated with him that had nothing to do with the proportions of his penis. And one last thing to remind him also – it’s not the size of the wand but rather the magic of the magician.
