10 Tips For Your Morning Workout

If you're one of those people who has embraced the morning workout routine, kudos! But are you longing for the days when every time you worked out, you felt fresh and rejuvenated? Exercise is incredibly important for our overall health and losing weight If you're at the point when exercise is part of your daily routine (good for you!), but feeling like you're not getting the maximum benefits out of your workout, here are 10 tips to boost it.

1. Warm Up: You don't necessarily have to jump out of bed at the sound of your alarm. Ease yourself out of bed and take your time. 

2. Set two alarms: The first one could give you 10-15 minutes of more sleep. Then the second is when you wake up but ease out of your sleep mode. Try meditating for 5-10 minutes, drink a cup of your favorite deliciousness such as hot lemon water, coffee or tea. Even start playing music to pump you up while you get dressed. 

3. Go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time.

4. Get your workout clothes out the night before. This will help avoid the possibility to skip workouts. 

5. Turn on the light: This will be sure to wake you up. 

6. Keep the alarm away from your bed: This will force you to wake up and run after your alarm, otherwise that sound is going to annoy you. And guess what? You're up!

7. Make it a habit: A recent study revealed that those who found success with incorporating exercise into their daily routine. Stick to making small changes. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Take a quick 15-20 minute walk during lunch. Just get dressed the second you get home and do a quick 30-minute workout. 

8. Wear red: Red is a color that helps increase excitement, energy and even circulation. 

9. Embrace your morning cup of coffee

 

10. Splash water on your face the minute you wake up. This will help to wake up those who really struggle in the morning.
